Intuitive Counseling

I spent many years training as a psychic, honing my natural gifts. Over the years, however, it has become abundantly clear to me that I don't have any answers (and I suggest you should be wary of anyone who claims to!).

During your session, I may offer my intuitive insights or deliver messages from Spirit. However, my real desire is to empower you to know, own and live from your deepest truth. To that end, I will always I offer any intuitive guidance in service to your own inner knowing.

Your Intuitive Counseling session is a collaboration between you and I. As we explore and weave together, your authentic truth is revealed.

My hope is that our time together will bring you into greater alignment with yourself and the brilliant light that shines within you.

Frequently Asked Questions About Intuitive Counseling Sessions

No, I cannot see the future because it doesn’t exist. I can only look at the way the energy around a current situation is moving in the present moment, which can give you information about how things might unfold in the future if the energy continues to move as it is. However, energy is constantly shifting in response to the choices that you make as you walk along your path; Basically, I cannot see your future because you have not created it yet!

No, I cannot. I am not a medium and so I do not communicate with or receive messages from the dead.

Before we meet, I suggest that you spend some time thinking about what you would like to explore or gain more awareness around during our time together. (Keep in mind that if you have multiple topics of interest, you might need more than one session).

Therapeutic Healing

Because we are wounded in relationship, we must also do our healing in relationship. In these sessions I will collaborate with you to build a sense safety and trust between us (this is often referred to as secure attachment).

From that base of safety and trust, we will begin to explore whatever is emerging in the moment with curiosity, openness and kindness. As a result, your system to begin to heal and shift.

As your energy begins to shift, we will invite fresh, new possibilities for you and your life and allow old, stuck, un-metabolized energies to begin to release or transform.

As your transformation occurs, you will begin to embody new ways of being that include an increased sense of peace, freedom and choice.

This is a gentle, kind and elegant method of healing that meets you right where you are, and is rooted in the latest neuroscience as well as ancient indigenous, earth-based and spiritual wisdom.

Frequently Asked Questions About Therapeutic Healing Sessions

It can sometimes take some time to know if a practitioner is the right one for you to work with. One suggestion is to try about 3 sessions before you make a decision, as one session may simply not be enough to really know.

I work best with clients who are motived to do the work that it takes to heal and are open to entering into a collaborative process with me (as opposed to expecting me to fix them).

Unresolved trauma can show up in a myriad of ways at different times throughout our lives. This trauma may be ancestral, from childhood or from a shocking event. What follows is a short list of some of the ways that it may show up:

  • ADD/ADHD
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Chronic Pain
  • Chronic Illness
  • Difficulty in relationships
  • Hyper vigilance
  • Shame
  • Addiction
  • Trouble sleeping
  • Irritability / Restlessness
  • Intrusive thoughts
  • "Control Issues"
  • "Anger Issues"
  • Dissassociation
  • Tension
  • Inability to relax
  • Lack of motivation
  • Disconnection from the body
  • Disconnection from Spirit
  • Disconnection from emotions
  • Disconnection from intuition

Yes! Absolutely. Here are some suggestions:

Healing trauma almost always requires a multi-faceted approach. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that you work with more than one person.

For example, in addition to seeing me, I suggest that you should have at least one other healing professional that you see on a regular basis. Here is a list of some modalities that many people find to be particularly helpful:

  • Feldenkrais
  • Gentle Yoga
  • Cranial Sacral (the biodynamic method especially)
  • Mental Health Therapy
  • Shiatsu or Acupuncture
  • Yoga Therapy
  • Bodywork
  • Energy Healing

Additionally, it is important to have patience. Healing takes time. Do your best to stick with your process, which will have many ups and downs.

In truth, healing from trauma is a lifestyle, not something that you do for awhile and then forget about. As a part of your healing process, I suggest that you cultivate a sense of being curious about new ways of living and being in your life that might feel better to you.

I also highly recommend spending time in nature. Even just sitting outside for a few minutes a day can have an incredible impact on your wellbeing and support your healing in a substantive way.

It is also good to educate yourself on trauma and healing if you do not already know much about these topics. Books and podcasts are great sources of information. Feel free to ask me for some recommendations!
